This comprehensive two-day course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Topics include airway emergencies, breathing and circulation emergencies, respiratory and cardiac arrest, wound care, head and spine injuries, bone, muscle, and joint injuries, sudden medical emergencies, environmental emergencies, and poisons.  Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid is recognized by WorkSafe BC as equivalent to Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1.  Course fee includes manual.  Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for active participation in performing CPR and First Aid skills on the floor and various positions.
