The Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Program provides basic English language courses to adult permanent residents. The program is free for Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees over the age of 17. Immigrants who wish to study in LINC must first be tested at:

Surrey Language Assessment Centre
Suite 202, 7337 – 137th Street, Surrey, BC.    Phone: 604-507-4150.

Students going to the testing centre for the first time should take a copy of immigration papers.
