Early Childhood Education Post-Basic Studies For Special Needs And Infant/ Toddler

The Post-Basic studies program provides an opportunity for career and educational advancement for ECE graduates. Students must have completed all the academic work in the ECE Basic Certificate program prior to applying for the Post-Basic courses. The advanced courses lead to a Certificate to Practice as a Special Needs Early Childhood Educator, working in integrated settings with children requiring extra support, and/or a Certificate to Practice as an Infant and Toddler Early Childhood Educator, working with children under three years old.  Both the Special Needs and the Infant /Toddler specializations consist of 4 common core courses, as well as one specialty course and a practicum.

 Students may start in JANUARY, APRIL, or SEPTEMBER.
