This one-day course offers an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.  The course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent, and respond to circulation emergencies for adults and children.  Topics include airway emergencies, breathing and circulation emergencies, respiratory and cardiac arrest, and wound care.  Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid is recognized by WorkSafe BC as equivalent to Occupational First Aid (OFA) Level 1.  Course fee includes manual. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for active participation in performing CPR and First Aid skills on the floor and various positions.
