Delta Music Makers Concert Band celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a concert at Genesis Theatre on October 29th

This event celebrated founder, Curt Jantzen, and founding members, several of whom are still playing in the band, as well as some of their favourite music performed over the years.  Featured soloists included clarinetist, David Jackson during “A Tribute to Benny Goodman”, trumpeter Wilf Radke on “A Trumpeter’s Lullaby”, and Kendle Jantzen on typewriter during the novelty hit, “The Typewriter”.

Assistant Conductor, Margaret Behenna, and Guest Conductor, Brenda Khoo, also led performances during the concert.   Congratulations to the Delta Music Makers.
